Shipping & Delivery

How long does shipping take?
Every Shilpani piece is hand-finished after you order, so please allow 5–7 business days for production and dispatch. After dispatch, delivery typically takes 2–7 business days depending on your location — metros are faster, remote areas may take slightly longer. Total: 7–14 business days from order to door.
Is shipping free?
Yes — free shipping on all orders above ₹1,499 across India. For orders below ₹1,499, a flat ₹99 shipping charge applies.
Do you offer Cash on Delivery (COD)?
Yes. Cash on Delivery is available pan-India. A nominal COD handling fee of ₹49 may apply. COD is not available for orders above ₹5,000.
How do I track my order?
You will receive an email with a tracking link as soon as your order is dispatched. You can also WhatsApp us at +91 90019 95029 with your order number for a real-time update.
Do you ship internationally?
Not yet. We currently ship within India only. International shipping is planned for a future phase — join our newsletter to be notified when it launches.

Returns & Refunds

What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 7 days of delivery for pieces that arrive damaged or defective. Email hello@shilpani.com with your order number and photos of the damage within 7 days. We'll arrange a free reverse pickup and offer a replacement or full refund. We do not accept change-of-mind returns.
What if my frame arrives damaged?
Please photograph the damage and the packaging (inside and outside) immediately upon receipt, and email us at hello@shilpani.com within 7 days. We will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you. Our packaging is designed to prevent damage — but if it happens, we take full responsibility.
How long does a refund take?
Once we receive and inspect the returned piece, refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment source (UPI, card, net banking). For COD orders, refunds are made via bank transfer.
Can I cancel my order?
Orders can be cancelled within 12 hours of placement, provided production has not started. Email hello@shilpani.com immediately with your order number. Custom and personalised orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed.

The Product

Is the frame ready to hang?
Yes. Every Shilpani frame arrives with a D-ring hanger pre-fitted on the back, plus adhesive nail-free hanging strips — so you can hang it without drilling in most cases. A small spirit level is helpful but not required.
What size should I choose for my room?
As a general guide: 12×18 inches suits pooja niches, hallways, and compact walls. 16×24 inches is ideal above a console or bed. 24×36 inches makes a statement above a sofa or on a feature wall. When in doubt, tape the dimensions on your wall before ordering.
What is the difference between frame options — Honey, Walnut, Natural?
Honey is a warm golden-brown wooden frame with a polished finish — suits warm-toned interiors. Walnut is a darker, richer brown — suits contemporary and Scandinavian interiors. Natural is a lighter, undyed wood — suits minimalist and Japandi-style spaces. All frames are solid wood, hand-finished.
Is acrylic durable in humid Indian climates?
Yes. Acrylic is more humidity-resistant than canvas or paper prints, making it well-suited to Indian conditions including coastal cities. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight and do not hang near steam sources (directly above stoves, in bathrooms). Our prints carry a 100-year colour stability rating under normal indoor conditions.
How do I clean my Shilpani frame?
Wipe the acrylic surface gently with a dry microfibre cloth. Do not use water, glass cleaners, or abrasive cloths — these can scratch the acrylic or damage the print. The wooden frame can be wiped with a slightly damp cloth and immediately dried.
Can the frame be near incense smoke?
Brief, intermittent exposure to incense in a well-ventilated pooja room is fine. However, prolonged or heavy smoke exposure over years may cause yellowing of the acrylic surface. We recommend keeping the frame at a comfortable distance from the incense holder and ensuring the room is aired regularly.

Orders & Gifting

Can I gift-wrap my order?
Every Shilpani order already comes beautifully packed — in a cotton sleeve inside a branded box with a handwritten card. If you'd like to add a personal message, enter it in the "Personalize" field at checkout (for the brass plate) or leave a note in the order comments.
Do you offer bulk or corporate gifting?
Yes. We offer bulk orders with custom branding, personalised brass plates, and dedicated account support. Write to hello@shilpani.com with your requirements and we'll share a quote within 48 hours.
Can I customise a piece — size, deity, or artwork?
Custom commissions are available. Write to hello@shilpani.com describing what you have in mind. Custom orders typically take 3–4 weeks from approval to delivery and are priced individually. Note: custom pieces are non-returnable.
